Identifying as a Christian Therapist comes with its own challenges but I thank God I embraced being called one because I am actually one already ❤️ Several controversies, confusion and negative perceptions surrounds the word THERAPY among Christians and even church leaders who don't know anything about it but they are standing on their biases and other people's biases (stereotypes) to talk. But what it was when I started this journey three years ago is not what it is right now. I have seen several church programs tagged Trauma and Addictions Recovery and I was glad to see that experts were brought in to speak.
